You won’t believe what I just bought on eBay. It makes everything in that list I posted Yesterday look like a pile of crap. It’s the Final Fantasy VII OST! £12 (£10+£2 P+P). Not only that, but it’s coming from the UK! That’s four CDs of sheer and complete awesomeness, in a massive box. I occasionally notice the special FFVII OST DigiCube edition on eBay for about £250. Lol.

Today I got paper (why can’t anyone make a pad of paper that you can easily rip individual sheets out of without them ripping?), read a few more chapters of Battle Royale (Shuya and Noriko have had to run away from the school and not wait for Shinji - surely Shinji is gonna save everyone from killing each other though - he’s a genius) and tidied the computer of various duplicate photos. I’ve also watched the video for Ami Suzuki’s FREE FREE many many times. Oh, and I found an awesome video in which Ami has a chainsaw and is fighting another woman who has a giant pair of scissors.

• I ate some organic sausages, which where shite. Never buy anything organic.

I have a very serious condition known as…well, it doesn’t have a name, but it involves wanting to buy things all the time, or at least have something in the world’s postal system on it’s way to me. Today on eBay I found no less than 2000 items I would love to buy. A snippet of these include:

Annoyingly, all I have is £1.50 and 50 Cruzeiros, which aren’t even legal tender in Brazil anymore. This is all due to not having EMA during Summer, because I’m not in school, despite ironically probably doing more work this Summer than I do in school time, all without actually having a job.

I’m on chapter 7 (of 79) of Battle Royale. The teacher’s head got shot apart. Noriko got shot in the leg. Oh dear. Shinji Mimura will save everyone, won’t he? Ooo, I just bet he’s already cooking up a cool calm plan!

• Wait a minute - I got 90 out of 90 on HI1. I can’t remember what the exam was about (Henry VII…Pretenders…cloth trade…Emperor Maximillian?), but I don’t think I’ll bother to resit that one.
• Stuff I want the new PSP (let’s call it the PS3 PSP3) to do: have an alarm clock, a radio tuner receiver thingy, a voice recorder using either the microphone or the Go!Cam…and I want it to be blue!
• I was recently in a conversation with Lewis and Aaron. They were busy downloading something or other. They found some art. There was an awesome quote. “He designed my girlfriend’s boobs. From a distance they look good, but up close they’re just weird shapes.”
  I watched The Da Vinci Code again. My, it’s shite.

I got above average scores on my UKCAT! Although I did run out of time on the maths section and guessed the remaining 20 questions with 1 minute to go. I also guessed just about all of the weird shapes section. I did well on verbal reasoning and the bit with codes.

AS level results! I think they went something like this, although we had to work them out, and I didn’t note them down, so I can’t remember. History A, Physics C, Biology D, Chemistry E, General Studies Exclamation Mark. In all, I’ll have to resit about 6 or 7 exams. I’m dropping Physics, and I’m kinda extremely surprised I got a C in it…I though it was the worst, definitely. Let’s see, I’ll resit HI3, BI1, BI2, CH1, CH2, CH3a and CH3c. Wow, that’s a lot! I’m screwed! Hahahahahah…ahaha. Haaaaa.

This is the car that’s going to save General Motors, the American economy, the environment, and the world, the Chevrolet Volt. One of two teaser photos released for the production car. It’s elecrtic, y’see. Although it has a petrol engine as well. It’s supposed to acheive between 50mpg (when not charged) and 150mpg (when charged). That’ll be 100mpg then. Which isn’t that great. I think that VW Polo BlueMotion does about 75mpg. Pfft.

• I sent an email to YouTube (admittedly to their address specifically meant for security queries) telling them how much they suck, and that they should put notifications for your favourited videos that are longer available back up.
• I have an itchy eye.
• Biology was a failure because I literally didn’t revise for it until the night before the exams. I remember that night well. Andrew and I aksed each other questions, such as “Where’s all my BI1 work gone?”. That was a good night.

Song Of The Day: C-ute - Edo no Temariuta II

Christmas has come early! Mr and Mrs Father Christmas have bestowed me with a wonderous gift! A Dark Knight school pack and tin was lying below the letterbox when I checked yesterday. It was a fantastic surprise! It has little Gotham rubber and everything. Awww. I must thank Calum and Annie when they return from their jaunts abroad.

I have to take the UKCAT tomorrow ( would say UKCAT test, but then it’d be Clinical Aptitude Test test.) Now, there are a few sections, basically it’s language, maths, strange shapes, codes and a questionnaire. You get a ridiculously short amount of time for each section. I can’t do most of the practice questions. It’s not going to go well. Apparently the lowest you can score in each section is 300, it’s out of 900 per section, and the average score is 500-700.

The UKCAT is a very good way of making money. Nobody truly knows the scoring system. The questions in no way reflect the applicant’s ability to study medicine. The people on the UKCAT section of the New Media Medicine forum use graphs to illustrate their point of view. Graphs. The regular forum rule - that someone is inevitably declared to be “as bad as Hitler” - clearly do not apply.

I got my PSP wet the other day (I was…washing it) and all kinds of crazy things went wrong. When I turned it off, the green power light kinda stayed on, and it wouldn’t respond to earphones. Fortunately these things went away (evapouration!) but it no longer resonds to anything that’s put into it’s USB slot. That includes USB cables, and the camera. Oh no! I’ll wait to see if they unveil a third, slimmer, lighter PSP at the Tokyo Game Show in October, else I’ll have to consider buying a new one. I’ll go for a Slim & Lite, in white.

Square Enix’s big Tokyo event was…surprising. I’m not really sure if they “swung the ball back to Sony”, but…meh. Here’s what they did:

• Final Fantasy XIII will be coming out in “2009″.
• “Square Enix is teaming up with clothing designers “ROEN” for some garments to be seen in Final Fantasy XIII. Characters (main or side characters, we don’t know) will be seen wearing ROEN clothing in the game, which apparently ROEN will be producing for sale, in real clothing stores.”
• Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete will come out in March 2009, in a 2-disc Blu-ray set. On one of the discs will be a playable demo of FFXIII. It will also include trailers for Versus and Agito.
• Final Fantasy Agito XIII will now also be on the PSP.
• Kefka is in Dissida. It’s coming out December.
• KH: Coded & KH: 358/2 Days - Winter 2008.
• KH: Birth By Sleep - 2009.

It’s an open-top Veyron! Bugatti will build 80 of them, and they’ll cost about £1million each.

Rumours are that in the next Batman film, Johnny Depp will play The Riddler, Philip Seymour Hoffman The Penguin…and Angelina Jolie Catwoman. Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role of Mr. Freeze. You can now feast your eyes on Jamie’s review of The Dark Knight.

Today I drove down a narrow road. When I had to pull over and stop I mixed the brake up with the accelerator…which is never really a fantasic thing to do, and I splashed into a puddle. I can now manage to stop the car without it stalling. There was some guy with a dog, which I tried very hard to avoid. I eventually reached a scary place with very short walls which overlooked a big pile of rocks and the sea.

The GT5 Prologue update kinda gives a completely new feel to the whole game. And it has more generic jazz. At the British Motorshow, people got to drove the Lotus Evora Gran Turismo style, and Ferrari have a video of a virtual California going around some GT track on their website, so those two cars should be appearing…one day.

• Square Enix are working on Snoopy DS: Let’s Go Meet Snoopy And His Friends and Pingu’s Wonderful Carnival for the Nintendo DS. Yay! I hope that wasn’t their big announcement. Maaan…Pingu is awesome. But Snoopy I never really understood. It was so deep I couldn’t really grasp it.
• “A world inside a computer where man has never been. Never before now.” - Tron’s tagline. Tron was crap.
• I’ll be spending 8 hours a day at…that place…next week. That’s longer than school! And aftet that it’s the ridiculous UKCAT. And then results day.
• Massivest fail ever.

Video Of All Time: The Joker’s Magic Pencil Trick

When people saw this film, they said “film film film film film film film film.” And y’know what? They’re right.

This is, by far, the best film ever made. It beats Final Fantasy VII Advent Children into a bloody pulp. The acting is constantly fantastic, everything that was wrong with Batman Begins has been ironed out, and…ahhh…it was just awesome. The Joker is amazing, whether anyone apart from Heath Ledger could have pulled it off is debatable. One of the best things about the film was that before something manic happened, a noise which sounds like a cross between a siren and static, slowly builds in volume. It was funny, the action sequences awesome, plot twists shocking. The only thing that perhaps dampened it was the ending, which was overly based on morality and not really as grand as it should have been. The music was awesome. Katie Holmes, who didn’t reprise her role as Rachel Dawes due to filming clashes, must be kicking herself.

So, this will be the best film ever made…until Saturday, when Square Enix will probably show us a trailer for Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete. Oh well.

• I’ve had a haircut. It’s now very very short.
• All the trailers shown at the cinema were crap and annoying. Oh, and BBC Radio 1 can shut the fuck up.
• It’s dark and rainy. Yay! I hate sun.
• I watched the last 20 minutes of a Snoopy movie today. My, it was bad.
• When you watch The Dark Knight, it puts into perspective just how crap the latest Indiana Jones was. Although, to be fair, my cliam that it’s the best film ever made may be an exaggeration, as I’d forgotten about the classic that is The Devil Wears Prada.
• Another thing about Indy 4 - what the hell is the scene where Shia LaBoeoeoff is swinging through the trees with all the monkeys about? I mean…that was completely random.

FFVII Advent Children OST arrived! Yay! And there’s another parcel at the post office which needs to be signed for. But it might not be for me. I’m listening to Advent: One-Winged Angel very loudly.

According to Odeon’s stupid website, there are no films showing for the rest of this week. This’ll probably mean having to phone them up on their amazing film hotline.

:O It was ROSE Album at the post office! Yay! Plus, it came with a bonus CD by Pornograffitti. I’ve never listened to Pornograffitti before. On the way there I saw someone who looked like Seb. Unless of course he has stolen Seb’s face and placed it atop his own face. He was in a large contingent of about 90 people. I hope it was Seb, otherwise that guy is gonna think I was coming onto him. On the way back I saw one of my many nieces.

Last Tuesday I weighed 11 stone, and said I would wigh 4 pounds less by next Tuesday (today). I now weigh…

Weston-super-Mare pier burtn down. Weston-super-Mare lies directly opposite Penarth. You can see it across the Bristol Channel. By the time I woke up all the smoke was gone.

I drove a car today, for the first time ever. Volvo 740. I stalled it several times, then broke 30mph onto a kerb. I went round a round-a-bout very well. If I had paid lessons that would have probably cost £25, and going by what people in school say I wouldn’t have done half as much. On Wednesday I return to the car.

I won’t be here next week. I am forbidden to tell you where I’m going, what I’m doing there or anything I see whilst I’m there. I will be here, just not…here. At least not from 9 to 5 anyway. Or is that giving too much away? I thought it was just like patient records an at? Oh shit!

Neither of my CDs have arrived. I was looking forward to playing Advent: One-Winged Angel very loudly. Awwww. On Wednesday, if I’m still alive (Sully, the perfect driving practice place, is overrun with massive lorries), I’m going to see The Dark Knight.

• Meanwhile, at the San Diego ComicCon, there was a new Dharma Initiative video shown, in which the one-armed guy says that he knows the Initiative will be purged, and that it must be started up again, 30 years later.
• When will Disney release a high quality Tron 2 trailer. God!
• Last night’s Top Gear was incredibly bad taste, but at least it was done to the ultimate level it could possibly go, and was generally funny. Unlike Jimmy Carr’s World War II comments, which he seems to make on every show he’s on, which are strenuous and unfunny. Ahhh…he really is a cunt fool.
• A lot of people seem to be blaming Gordon Brown for everything. But wait! Here is a simple guide to things I disagree with that he’s done: He voted to hold terror suspects for 42 days, he voted to keep the abortion time limit as it is and not lower it, he plans to cut down on knife crime…an impossible task (I could get a knife from the kitchen right now and go and kill about 20 people), he cancelled Christmas, he did that whole 10p tax thing (I don’t fully understand it, but it was apparently bad), he didn’t say whether or not he was going to hold an election when he got into power.
• Nowhere on the entire Internet can I download a HD trailer for The Day The Earth Stood Still. I blame Apple, QuickTime, 20th Century Fox, IGN and Sony.
