Sakuranbo!

{March 11, 2008}   The Drive Of Your Life

It’s 10.21pm.

I’m cold and tired.

Here’s picture proof of the Ferrari F40’s presence in GT5 Prologue. The F40 really is awesome. I bet it’s really slow and awful in the game. But it’s still awesome. Meanwhile, there’s a PS3 Gran Turismo 5 Prologue bundle coming out.

I still have my old PS2+Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec bundle pack box. Good times. That one was red as well. So, this is £299 for one of the best games ever made (but not necessarily the best game coming out this month) and a 40GB PS3. No DualShock3 though, but it doesn’t really matter.

Have a look at Who is Rie fu? on HMV.co.uk. What do you notice about the “customers also bought…” section? I’ll tell you what I noticed - that’s everything I’ve bought from HMV.co.uk in the past year (my mum bought Gone With The Wind). But, yeah…does that mean I’m the only person who’s actually bought Who is Re fu? If so, that’s terrible. I feel so sorry for Rie fu.

Jamie and I wound up Owayne on MSN. We tricked him into believing that Jamie was David Firth, creator of Salad Fingers. We then denied the existence of Christopher Lee.

What’s Junjun up to now? After her unsuccessful attempt to blow up Earth, you’d have thought she may lie low for a while. But oh no. Here she seems to have turned to psychological warfare, inflicting great confusion upon her fellow Morning Musume members.

Oh noes, what’s she doing now?

Arrhh, Junjun angry!

According to Wiki.ThePPN, “Junjun loves bananas and is willing to eat them at all cost.”

It’s the Budget Tomorrow.

Indeed.

{March 6, 2008}   ASS Levels

Today I got my History and General Studies results. I had 80/90 for History (which is an A, ’cause I rock like that) and 67/?? for General Studies which is a C. Awesome. I don’t have to re-sit Act Of Union. I might as well bin all my notes. Although that would be rather silly.

I’ve been tidying my various Internet stuff. I’ve deleted some of the bad posts from here, deleted a number of my videos (try and work out which ones…exactly, you can’t, that’s how bad they were), uploaded Bouncy Buddies Episode 10 (which features the disembodied voice of Jamie Clark!) and generally updated my YouTube channel. My Facebook is now apparently working. My Blogroll has been updated - Beyond the Sea was sadly destroyed by WordPress, and so had to go, along with TI Podcast, which is effectively dead. Drafted in to replace them is Squenix’s site for Yoko Shimomura’s Drammatica (comes out on March 26th, check regularly for new previews) and a link to Hello! Online. My Flickr has been updated with…I don’t know…some photos got deleted, others were added. It’s a cruel cycle.

Hikki’s recent blog posts have been fantastic. Here’s a few select quotes:

“I found myself covered in scars when I woke up, after I got dead drunk. My knees got a lot of scars, especially (<3)
Well.
( ^-^)/ Bonjour* From today I’ll start doing the thank-you seiken zuki 10 thousand times per day!

Uoooooo *screams*

*thud* *thud* *thud*

Kuma Chang suit can be used also as a book display unit like this.”

WOW. Hikki’s drinking exploits sound amazingly fun. Later on she posted a picture of her bruised knees (here):

“BTW my knees look Like this*

My hands, elbows and forehead also got damaged*

But that was fun (*-_-*)

Hikki’s drinking exploits…ahhh…I hope she wasn’t drinking alone, or with Kuma Chang. That would add a whole different element of seriousness to it altogether.

My HMV.co.uk order of Who is Rie fu? is “on special order with or suppliers.” Wow. That must be because they’ve run out of stock…what with it being so popular. It’s also gone up from £7.99 to £9.99 - maybe HMV are trying to cash in on it’s overwhelming popularity. Whatever, I pay £7.99 for being loyal early ordering Rie fu fan.

It’s Annie’s birthday tomorrow. I attempted to make her a card. It was gonna be a good card, with pop up things and everything. But…it’s still gonna be good…just not as good. Whatever. I blame the high oil prices.

Other Stuff

  • GT5 Prologue now apparently contains the High Speed Ring for the North American (and likely European) release…which is in 22 days now.
  • Watch today’s Videos Of The Day. They’re awesome.
  • An HQ version of Fight The Blues is still not up.
  • Seb came to lunch with a tripod Yesterday. He later wore sunglasses.
  • I came dangerously close to completing Mr.Driller a few weeks ago. I’ve had it a good few years now.
  • Surely a Utada Hikaru Single Clip Collection Vol.5 cannot be far away now, right? I predict Beautiful World, Kiss&Cry, Boku wa Kuma, Flavor Of Life, HEART STATION, and possibly a future video may be included. May I request You Make Me Want To Be A Man be added too, please Hikki? And Close To You.
  • Only 2 episodes of Bouncy Buddies to go…I wonder how it’ll all end? I predict that Jeremy Bond isn’t all he claims to be, and that Jamie Clark will die in completely accidental circumstances.
  • Lost is on in the morning.

Video Of The Day: Simon’s Cat ‘Let Me In!’

Video Of The Day II: SWIFFER!

Song Of The Day: Tsukiko Amano - Honey?

{March 3, 2008}   Where is Rie fu?

“To all the people reading this and thinking,
‘I can read this language!’
thanks for keeping track of this blog even though it’s in Japanese.
I’m finally releasing an album in UK (and Europe maybe? Not sure)on3March!!
The title’s ‘Who is Rie fu?’ and consists of selected songs from my former releases, although it includes an exclusive bonus track.
Just to keep you up to date with how i am doing, i am currently living and working in japan, starting to get fed up with the Japanese music market selling shit. (don’t translate this..)
so those of you living in the UK & europe, if you are compassionate enough, please get a hold of this album and promote it so that i can start a career based over there, preferably in a Notting Hill flat…
well i’m only joking.
hope this album would lead to something new outside Japan, for you to get to know this artist more.
Hugs rxx”

…WOW. By “selling shit”, I’m sure she’s referring to…uhhh…y’know, that band that isn’t very good…Kat-Tun. Yeah, that must be it. Kat-Tun. So I went to Cardiff, to HMV, they didn’t have it. To Virgin Megastores Zavvi, and the guy said they had one copy. Went upstairs, came back, couldn’t find it. Bah. It’s a good thing though, ’cause it’s £4 cheaper on HMV.co.uk. And so I believe it is whizzing it’s way to me right now. Whilst in Borders, I flicked through the latest copy of Neo (remind me to get a copy of Neo in one day - it has like, Final Fantasy on every page, it’s fantastic) and a book with Madeleine McCann on the cover. I then found Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories Volume 1. Yay! I finally know what’s going on. It has Yuffie screaming “WHERE’S MY CHEESE-CAKES!?”.

Fight The Blues was on Japanese radio today, and is awesome (despite being an awful radio rip…you’d think it’d be easy to record something off the radio, but apparently not).

Tomorrow is GCSE certificate giving out day. Immaculate presentation is necessary. Wow. Not likely, to be honest.

I brought my Year 9 Art book in today. You can see most of it on my DeviantART.  Annie drew me in strange colours. I may upload it sometime.

Christ Church just won University Challenge

I should probably do the Physics homework.
